I guess we could say, "Hotel Announced - Finally!" Yes, it has taken a few months longer than we first planned to get the deal all locked down with our new hotel. During that time, a lot has happened, some of which has allowed us to make an even better deal. So, I guess all things in their time! But it's now official.

We're all very excited about moving to this new property, partially because it's like coming home. You see, when we produced the first MAGIC Live! back in 2001 (okay, okay... the "only" MAGIC Live!), The Orleans was a Michael Gaughan hotel. Since then, that property has been purchased and is operated by Boyd Gaming. Mr. Gaughan now owns the South Point, and many of the wonderful people who made our event so successful in the past are now on staff at the South Point. They're a great team, and we're looking forward to working with them again.
Located a few miles south of The Strip on Las Vegas Blvd., the South Point offers over 2,000 spacious hotel rooms, seven restaurants onsite, an intimate nightclub-style showroom, and a full floor of spacious meeting rooms. Needless to say, this property is giving us a lot to dream about! Also, the South Point provides shuttles to and from the airport, as well as to and from The Strip.
Our MAGIC Live! group rate is just $65 for weeknights and only $95 for weekends. And that's for one- or two-person occupancy. Eight years ago, MAGIC Live! announced it was going to a little-known hotel off The Strip. And we did that because that hotel had the best facilities at the time. Well, times have changed. And so has MAGIC Live! We look forward to seeing you at the South Point!
