Behind The Curtain

As so many things do, MAGIC Live started as a simple idea — to celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of MAGIC Magazine by bringing the pages to life. The concept being that if magicians enjoyed the magazine, they might enjoy coming to Las Vegas and “living” that magazine for four days.

It’s been fifteen years since that first gathering, and the ninth version of our “never-to-be-repeated” convention takes place in Las Vegas this August. If you’re not familiar with what MAGIC Live is all about, here’s the history of the event — not just what registrants see, but also some insight into the planning and development. We want to let you in on what we do and why we do it, sharing both our successes and our disappointments. We hope you’ll get a few smiles, and maybe even an aha moment or two along the way.
